About the Mythos Tracker
Anthropic Mythos Tracker is an independent observatory for Anthropic’s Mythos-class models — Mythos Preview, Fable 5, Mythos 5, and Project Glasswing. We exist to answer one question reliably: what is true about these models right now?
What we do
- Live status. A single, unambiguous availability verdict for Fable 5 and Mythos 5, derived from live data — never hardcoded.
- News. Original, short summaries of every relevant story, each with a link to its source. We never reproduce source text.
- Timeline. A canonical, continuously updated record of the whole saga.
- Comparison. A sourced model table you can cite.
Methodology
Every ~30 minutes our automation re-reads the official Anthropic status board (status.claude.com) and, every few hours, a blend of public news feeds and community sources. We normalize, de-duplicate, and classify each item, then write an original summary. The availability verdict is synthesized from any active status incident mentioning Mythos or Fable and the latest reporting — it reflects whatever the official sources currently say. When a source is unreachable, we show the last-known-good value with its original timestamp rather than inventing or blanking data.
We publish our raw data openly at /data/*.json for transparency and reuse. We follow the documentation conventions at llmbestpractices.com; see our LLM info page for a machine-readable description.
